Harry H. Begay is a Navajo (Diné) silversmith renowned for reviving and mastering the traditional Navajo style of working with ingot sterling silver. He began his jewelry-making career in the early 1970s and has since become one of the most respected figures in contemporary Native American jewelry.  

In jewelry design, carinated refers to a triangular bar or silver wire that has been bent into the shape of a bracelet shank.
