Native Star: In the Navajo culture, as a part of the creation story, the first man and the first woman were in charge of placing the stars in the sky. The coyote, who was known for being clumsy, was not allowed to help. Thus, he stole the bag of stars but tripped as he ran away, spilling the bag into the sky, illuminating the night.
