Eudialyte is from the cyclosilicate mineral family and contains zirconium, yttrium, manganese, iron, calcium, cerium, and sodium. This stone can be red-orange, cherry red, orange, pink, brownish red, brown, yellowish brown, yellow, green, or violet. The name Eudialyte is Greek for ‘readily decomposable’ in reference to the easy solubility of this stone in acids. Eudialyte can be found in Canada, Russia and Madagascar.
